Welcome to the August issue of CODAmagazine, where we share design + art projects from all over the world. As you know, CODAworx is a global online community for artists, commissioners, and industry resources. On our platform members can showcase their work, discover new resources, connect with potential collaborators, and share or find commission opportunities.

Celebrating Nature is a new topic for us this year. We see a lot of projects that inspired us to create this issue, and when we looked at submissions we realized there were so many ways that nature is depicted that we weren’t thinking about when we came up with this topic. It can be obvious, of course, or subtle, and sometimes very subtle. It can be metaphorical, experiential, and storytelling. It can also deliver a meaningful or unexpected message. You will see what I mean when you look at the projects showcased below.

Our thanks go out to everyone who submitted their projects for consideration! It was an adventure to put this issue together. Since we are going to be launching a new CODAworx site in mid-September, we will not be publishing CODAmagazine for a few months. When we bring it back on, it will have a new look & feel, and likely new topics as well.
