Welcome to the June issue of CODAmagazine, where we share the best design + art projects from all over the world. We’re an online community for artists, design professionals, and industry resources to showcase their work, collaborate with one another, and find the creative resources they need for future projects.

You probably won’t find the answers to all of life’s questions in this issue, but I hope you enjoy the art highlighted in it as much as I do! The CODAmagazine team considered both artistic representations honoring living forms and concepts of what life is. The projects selected for this month come from our broad interpretation of life on our home, Planet Earth. These amazing artwork installations from our talented international community represent living beings in all their forms: human, animal, botanical - and more! Created in a variety of media, from metal sculpture to augmented reality, all are expressions of the concept of art.

Although static in nature, the projects in this collection are teeming with palpable vitality and engaging energy. Generations of people have been fascinated with their own selves and the forms of life surrounding them, and we are the happy recipients of their productive output. From cave paintings, Roman mosaics, Bourgeois’ spiders, and AI-generated art, taking inspiration from life is a theme which connects creatives through the ages.
