Overview
Bay Window is a digital window installation created for Mozilla’s office on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. We conceived of the window as a “digital poster” for Mozilla: A place in the real world where they can address issues like digital rights, privacy and data abuse. Short messages such as “Who Owns The Internet?” and “Digital Rights = Human Rights” are interspersed with generative abstract graphics inspired by early computer art. The display features a three-dimensional, triangular grid derived from the preexisting window grid. All graphics are based on this non-square pixel a custom typeface specifically for the display was developed.Goals
Create a permanent digital poster as part of the Mozilla office in San Francisco. Create a platform where Mozilla can broadcast it's messages.
