Client: Elliott Museum

Overview

‘The Lightness in Being’ Video Installation at the Elliott Museum was a carefully thought out collaboration between Rob Steele, President & CEO, of the Elliott Museum and myself. We came up with a title for the installation that would represent the poetic and spiritual aesthetic of my video installations. We wanted the community to be transported into an immersive, sensory and poetic experience. Rob Steele was excited to have my work at the museum, as this was the first time video art would be introduced to the community. The community responded with an outpouring of positive reviews.

Goals

Goals of this project were to create an immersive, sensory and poetic experience for all the visitors to the museum.

Process

The installation consisted of nine video projections that were created into three individual installations on Nature, People and Water.
